Everything in house

The restoration workshop

This is where all Porsches get a thorough overhaul. This workshop has its own spray booth, chassis jig, and a separate sheet-metal and welding area.

The overhaul workshop

Where we can work on several engines and gearboxes at the same time. We also have our own engine test bench here for tuning and running in the engines.

The service workshop

Maintenance and repair, using mainly original Porsche parts. We also have room here for building our project cars.

Showroom

A number of unique Porsches are on display here, for sale and often also for storage.

Team

What began as a youthful passion for the brand, nurtured in the shed at his parents’ home, soon grew into a renowned business. After tinkering from an early age, Olav Gelissen (director/owner) opened the doors of Speed Service, The Porsche 911 Specialist, on 1 June 1999 — first in Hoensbroek, soon followed by a move to a larger building at Tramweg 14 in Born.

In 2008 Olav Gelissen joined forces with his wife Marjolein Gelissen-Leijten (executive manager), and a new building at Tramweg 6 in Born was purchased. After that the team grew steadily with Leon Akkermans (car mechanic), Bjorn Bremen (sheet-metal worker/painter) and Richard Vonk (sheet-metal worker/painter). After several extensions on site, we reached maximum capacity here as well.

Our monumental courtyard farmhouse

In February 2015 we acquired a monumental Limburg courtyard farmhouse in Sittard. After two years of renovating, extending and commuting between both buildings, we opened our doors here in 2017 — strengthened by Harrie Zeelen (car mechanic/electrician) and Carl van Kesteren (overhaul technician).

Our team now consists of seven passionate, experienced professionals with an eye for detail and a healthy dose of perfectionism. Complemented by our monumental building — whose look and character match the classic air-cooled Porsches perfectly — we continue to strive for perfection.

Porsche perfection

You have also come to the right place for a personalised project. By this we mean projects that are made completely to measure for the customer, whether it concerns a specific colour scheme, interior or power: almost nothing is too crazy for us.

That is also how we build unique 964 Backdates, called Madsters, which now drive around the world. We have already delivered beautiful Madsters to customers in Austria, Malaysia, England and America, among others.
